Parked Where

Privacy Policy Effective 14 April 2026

Your parking spot,
your data.

Parked Where is an offline iOS app. We don't run servers. We don't have accounts. Your location, photos, and notes never leave your device — there's nowhere for them to go.

What stays on your device

Everything Parked Where remembers about your parking session lives in a private container on your iPhone. That includes the spot's coordinates, any photos you snap of signs or landmarks, the floor or section you noted, and the time you parked.

  • Location

Used to save where you parked and to guide you back on foot. The app reads your location only when you save a spot or open the walk-back screen — never silently in the background.

  • Camera & Photos

Used so you can snap or import a picture of a parking sign, ticket, or landmark. Images are stored alongside your other session data on the device.

  • Motion

Used to detect altitude changes between floors in multi-storey car parks, so the walk-back screen can tell you whether to go up or down. Processed on-device, never recorded.

  • Notifications

Reminders for parking expiry are scheduled locally on your iPhone. There is no push server — Parked Where cannot send you a notification from the cloud, because there is no cloud.

What we don't do

No third-party SDKs. No analytics. No advertising identifiers. No crash-reporting that ships data off the device. No fingerprinting. We don't know your name, your email, your IP address, or that you exist.

Deleting your data

Open History to clear an individual parking session, or uninstall the app to remove everything at once. Because nothing has ever been uploaded, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

Parked Where is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything about how the app handles data — for example, if a future version adds an optional sync feature — this page will be updated and the effective date above will move forward.
